The following organizations accept applications for physical education grants. Although our primary focus is on floorball, these organizations may be of use to your overall physical education programs.
KIDS in the GAME "KIDS In The GAME is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on inspiring kids to thrive in life through sports. We provide financial assistance to help youth from low-income families of all abilities gain access to after school sports programs and physical education programs in schools. We raise awareness of the importance of athletics in developing future leaders, with skills and values that transfer from the sports field into the classroom, workplace, family and community."
Prevent Childhood Obesity - "The Children’s Obesity Fund seeks to educate parents and children about the rising obesity rates in America, reverse the statistics and dangerous trends, and help prevent the next generation from continuing down this alarmingly unhealthy road. Our goal is to increase awareness and understanding of what it takes to be a strong, vigorous child. We would like to give money and support nonprofit organizations who share the goal of eliminating the epidemic of childhood obesity "
PHIT America - PEP is an 13 year federal program providing grants from the Department of Education directly to school districts to support and build quality PE programs. Grants are utilized for equipment, support and the training and education of teachers and staff.
