The New York Islanders floorball program is going strong in its second two-week session of the 2016-2017 school year. The program continues to be implemented in schools across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Nassau, Suffolk and Queens.

In the program's 2nd fall session, students at 24 schools are learning about the game of hockey in their physical education classrooms. This unique and action packed program has so far exposed hundreds of elementary and middle school students to floorball. The students get a chance to learn about floorball, stickhandling and other basic technique in some fast-paced drills and games.
